Now, it is a food leader in sweets, bakery, and fast foods and especially in PEHALWAAN REWRI (World’s No.1 Rewri Brand). It is internationally recognized brand due to adaptation of Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000), Environment Management System (ISO 14001), and Halal certified. It is in compliance with the Islamic Shariah (Guidelines), Global Halal Management System, IHI Alliance-Malaysia (GHMS), Pakistan Halal Standard (PS-3733:2016), and under the supervision of Shariah Board. PEHALWAAN REWRI contains Halal ingredients and complies with the Islamic Shariah Law.

The history of PEHALWAAN originates back beyond 40 years. The foundation started from a historic city of the Punjab province, “CHAKWAL”. Chakwal is a very famous district, which was a tehsil of district Jhelum during British rule. Chakwal district borders the districts of Rawalpindi and Attock in the north, Jhelum in the east, Khushab in the south and Mianwali in the west. It has many tourist places like Kallar Kahar, Katas Raj, and many dams etc. It is renowned as a land of lakes and dams like Kallar Kahar Lake, Dharabi Dam, Dhoke Talian Dam etc. Chakwal is really a land of military persons also. Most of the persons are serving in Armed Forces.
Apart from all these, Chakwal is very special in food brands like PEHALWAAN REWRI. It is a very famous brand of PEHALWAAN GROUP. PEHALWAAN GROUP was established in 1978 by the honorable co-founders Haji Muhammad Nazir (late), renowned as PEHALWAAN as a nick name, and respectable Mr. Haji Malik Muhammad Gulshair.
